Payment Terms
Upon receipt of the invoice, the Organizer (you), is required to pay a deposit ranging from $640 to $850 to secure the requested date and time. The remaining balance must be settled no later than five (5) days prior to the scheduled event.
Cancellation by Organizer
The Organizer may cancel the Event by providing written notice to Unarthodox at least fifteen (15) days prior to the scheduled date. In such instances, Unarthodox shall refund the full amount of the paid deposit to the Organizer. Should the Organizer cancel the Event less than fifteen (15) days prior to the scheduled date, Unarthodox reserves the right to retain the entire deposit.
Rescheduling of Private Parties
Private parties may be rescheduled up to five (5) days before the scheduled date, subject to a rescheduling fee of one hundred fifty dollars ($150). If the Organizer fails to reschedule the Event at least five (5) days prior to the scheduled date, the Organizer forfeits the right to reschedule and shall lose the deposit. The final payment for the Event and any catering services must be made five (5) days prior to the scheduled date. All Events must be rescheduled within thirty (30) days of the original request date; failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of any credits.Attendance and Refunds
In the event that any individual member of a party is unable to attend the Event, no refunds shall be issued unless the change is communicated at least fifteen (15) days prior to the scheduled date. This policy is absolute and without exceptions.Credit for Future Events
Credit for future Events will be issued only if changes are made at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled start time. No refunds will be issued. This credit is not applicable to catering and beverage package orders and may only be utilized for future private events occurring within ninety (90) days of the originally scheduled Event. A maximum credit of five (5) guests will be granted, contingent upon maintaining the required minimum of ten (10) guests for the rescheduled Event. The final headcount must be provided twenty-four (24) hours prior to the Event. Should additional guests need to be added, a revised invoice will be issued by Unarthodox.Discretion of Unarthodox
Unarthodox retains sole discretion to reschedule private parties after the five (5) day notice period. Unarthodox shall not be liable for issuing refunds in the event of illness or injury if cancellation occurs within fifteen (15) days of the scheduled date. In cases of inclement weather, including severe snow or rain, the determination to reschedule or cancel the Event is at the sole discretion of Unarthodox. No rescheduling fee shall apply if the change is initiated by Unarthodox.Cancellation by Unarthodox
Unarthodox reserves the right to cancel the Event at any time prior to the scheduled date, provided that the Organizer receives prior written notice of such cancellation. If Unarthodox cancels the Event for reasons other than nonpayment or breach of the agreement by the Organizer, Unarthodox shall either reschedule the Event or refund the total amount paid by the Organizer, at the Organizer’s discretion.Rescheduling Timeline
Unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing (including via email), all rescheduled Events must occur within sixty (60) days of the original Event date. The Organizer shall forfeit any credits or deposits if the Event is not rescheduled within this sixty (60) day timeframe.
NOTICE: UNARTHODOX RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL A PRIVATE EVENT WITHOUT REFUNDING IF ATTENDEES SHOW UP HALF AN HOUR OR MORE PAST THE START OF THE EVENT. PLEASE SHOW UP ON TIME.
Catering
Unarthodox proudly provides comprehensive catering services that encompass all aspects of setup, food management, and cleanup. To ensure a seamless experience, all catering orders must be paid in full no later than five (5) business days prior to the event. Please note that any changes to catering orders made within five (5) days of the event are non-refundable and will not be eligible for credit.
For any additions to an existing catering order, requests must be submitted at least two (2) full business days in advance of the event. Please be advised that Unarthodox does not offer Kosher catering services. In the event that a client chooses to supply their own Kosher catering, a fee of $150 will apply. Additionally, no outside food may be brought onto the premises. All food preparation is conducted off-site by licensed corporate caterers.
Unarthodox will handle all cleaning responsibilities, including mopping and the disposal of trash generated during the event. All waste, including food items, will be properly disposed of in accordance with the regulations set forth by the New York City Department of Sanitation.
Photo/Video
Unarthodox reserves the right to capture photographs and videos during both public and private experiences for the purpose of creating a complimentary edited highlight video of the event. This video will not be publicly shared; instead, the Organizer will receive a private YouTube link that grants exclusive access to the video for those with the link.
The photographs and video recordings taken by Unarthodox during the event may be utilized for marketing purposes by both Unarthodox and the Organizer. This may include, but is not limited to, posting images along with captions or summaries of the event on social media platforms, internal or external websites, marketing materials, and presentations. Organizer may decline the taking of photos and videos.
While guests are permitted to take photographs and videos, recording the entirety of the event is strictly prohibited
Mobile / In-House Events

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Cancellation:
The Organizer may cancel the event by providing written notice to Unarthodox at least fifteen (15) days prior to the scheduled date. In such an instance, Unarthodox shall refund the full amount of the deposit. Should the cancellation occur within fifteen (15) days of the scheduled date, Unarthodox reserves the right to retain the entirety of the deposit.

If the Organizer fails to reschedule the event at least five (5) days in advance, they shall forfeit the right to reschedule and will lose their deposit. Unarthodox reserves the discretion to reschedule private parties beyond the five (5) day notice period. Unarthodox shall not be liable for issuing refunds in cases of illness (including COVID-19) or injury if the cancellation occurs within fifteen (15) days of the scheduled date. In the event of inclement weather, including severe snow or rain conditions, Unarthodox shall determine whether to reschedule or cancel the event. No rescheduling fee will be charged if the change is initiated by Unarthodox. If Unarthodox cancels the event for reasons other than nonpayment or breach of contract by the Organizer, the Organizer shall have the option to either reschedule the event or receive a full refund.
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing (including via email), all rescheduled events must occur within sixty (60) days of the original event date; failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of any credits or deposits.
Liability for Damages
Unarthodox shall not be held liable for any damages caused by attending guests, including but not limited to, paint on floors and furniture or damage to personal property. While Unarthodox staff will remove all supplies and properly dispose of waste associated with the activity, the organization shall not be responsible for cleaning or repairing the venue. The Organizer assumes full responsibility for any loss or damage to their property.
Travel Terms
Unarthodox shall charge a fee of $3.50 for every mile outside of Manhattan. All bridge and road tolls shall be calculated and added to the invoice prior to the event. Overnight accommodation fees may apply to any venue located seventy-five (75) miles or more from our Chelsea, NYC headquarters, with costs determined based on accommodation rates. An additional fee of $400 per travel day will apply for all events requiring overnight stays.
For events necessitating air travel, an additional fee of $800 per day shall apply, exclusive of airfare and accommodations. Additional travel-related fees may encompass, but are not limited to, travel time, transportation, staffing, meals, parking, and tolls. For further details, please refer to our Mobile Terms and Conditions. Certain experiences may incur additional equipment fees.
Unarthodox reserves the right to refuse entry to any venue deemed unsafe or non-compliant with local safety regulations. Should a staff member feel threatened or unsafe in any venue, Unarthodox reserves the right to terminate the experience immediately, with no refunds or credits issued.
